STRANGE SONG

It's 5:50 a.m and I can't sleep. I just woke up with an urge to record this strange dream I had.

I dreamt I was in a hall filled with mirrors that have a sculpted scary-looking head on each one which sang to me the words below:

When the ambitious servant tips the scales;
a day will arrive for the slave to become the master;
a brief time, a brief joy, brothers forget their tales;
but the Star of David still draws blood from the mother.

Two gaps in the treasure vault will bring out the gold;
the goddess of wealth arises from the South-eastern Archipelago;
her insignia is the mousedeer, her power lies without bold;
towards eleven the bull continues to fight until end of sorrow.

Knowledge will disappear, too late - the tomes have remained under the fire;
the evil eye watches out of the blue, its devils conspiring the king's downfall;
nine is the revelation, the throne is set for the new sire;
beware! A traitor comes from the land of the moon to make his toll.

Quietly, Pan will be born into the army;
offering words to make men merry;
a remarkable beauty that belongs to no man nor lady;
upon royal orders shall the soldier rope the tainted tree.

There are actually a lot more, but I can't remember the rest of them. I wonder if they mean anything. Whatever, I'm going back to sleep. That is, if I can make myself go back to sleep...

PETER PAN'S "2 DSD" is playing in my mind today.
