I am feeling somewhat broken today.
For the past few weeks I have been thinking to myself: is there more to life?
Is there more to life than this? Everyday the world revolves on the same thing. Cruelty, madness, isolation... it's so crazy that I couldn't feel anything anymore. Is this what they call apathy?
The Messiah has never existed. Mankind is fated to fight against each other and die. Death with regrets is Man's true Destiny. Why are we clinging on a fairytale to keep on hoping for something that will never be a reality? Why do we continue to deceive ourselves with our own delusions?
A guy I talked to yesterday told me he met Jesus in his dream. Jesus was searching for a bride, he said. The bride is needed to assist Jesus spread peace and love on the planet. But the bride he searched for is stuck in a canyon state and so the guy decided he would help Jesus find that bride to help him with his mission. I am not a Christian but I wished the guy good luck anyway.
A dying woman in one of my nightmares mentioned to her paintings that the only thing she wanted in the world is a kiss of death. "The kiss of death," the woman whispered as she slowly died in the Angel of Death's embrace, "is a kiss that says 'Come away with me, and I shall never leave you forever again'."
She had loved everyone in her life that she was willing to give up her soul for them. However, people kept leaving her behind and forgot about her. The woman later retreated to her small room filled with paintings that she did when she was truly alive, and she stayed inside that room until she grew old and frail... but her sorrow and loneliness finally called out to the Angel of Death, whose mercy permitted the woman her final death wish. As the Angel of Death gently pressed his lips against hers, tears were rolling down the dying woman's cheeks.
Her final words were: "Don't leave me."
It was the most beautiful scene I have ever seen. Tragic, yes... but beautiful.
After I returned to the real world from my nightmare, I realize that dreams were meant to be shattered... and that sorrow is the only way a person can relieve himself or herself from the world's insanity.
