PERVERTED CREEP(S) ON THE LOOSE

I decide to do a mental exercise on the recent murder case today. I want to see if my brain can still function properly after being shut down for days due to my previous depression.

A reward of RM 35,000 is offered to any one who could come up with info regarding Nurin Jazrin's murderer. I find it so strange that the police have no clue at all as to who the murderer is, despite the media reporting that strands of hair not belonging to Nurin were found on her body. Even though semen could not be found on the body, but you can use the hair to conduct a DNA test, right?

Of course, the problem would be to identify to whom the DNA of the hair belongs. If the murderer is a foreigner as the police suspected, then attempts to identify him through the DNA would be futile, especially if there is no record of him in the country's registry. I wonder if the forensics department had examined whether the murderer's fingerprints were present on the sports bag that contained the voctim's body and around the victim's strangulated neck.

A strange thing to ponder on: what made the police think that the murderer is a foreigner? Is it because the crime he committed was so sadistic that it's hard to believe a Malaysian had committed it? I don't think so. There is a Marquee de Sade in all of us.

So now the police are relying on the murderer's modus operandi as an indication to his identity. Based on several reports, the murderer's act of inserting vegetables inside his victim's private parts is similar to the M.O of the serial molester in Kuala Lumpur known as "Pencabul Kg Baru" who was reported to have terrorized the city a couple of months ago. Like the murderer, the molester kidnaps pre-pubescent girls aged 5-12 and tortures them by inserting all kinds of vegetables into the victims' private parts. The police couldn't track this pervert either.

Another strange thing to ponder on: how can the police overlook a serial molester in such a small isolated place as Kg Baru? There should have been a search for that pervert when complaints have been lodged against him. Even if a search had been made, the time it took the police to investigate was super slow despite having obtained witness' statements, photofit of the pervert, etc.

Here's an idea, let's call a psychic to help along since the police could not conclude their investigation. And while the psychic is at it, we could also invite those so-called bomohs and voodoo practitioners to assist the police force. The bomohs can use their djiins or demons or familiars or whatever those creatures are called to hunt for the pervert, while the voodoo people can help sticking needles in the pervert's groin to slow him down while the hunt is on.

About the rumours that the serial molester and the murderer being the one same person; I sense there is a difference in terms of personality between these two. Here is an outline of the observation I made between the two criminals' M.O in order to see whether they are the same suspect:

Suspect No.1# Serial Molester

1) Targets children around the age group of 5-12 years;
2) Prowls for children at day time;
3) Lures victims to his lair by inviting them to 'feed his cats' (mental note: never trust people who have cats for pets);
4) Acts friendly with his victims;
5) Takes a victim to a house and locks the victim there for a few hours;

6) Inserts vegetables into victim's private parts to simulate penile penetration;

7) Releases the victim after having sexually abused her;

8) Acts alone;

9) Has kept himself low-profile enough to make the public forget about him;

10) Not much design and planning in the commission of crime.

Suspect No.2# Sex Offender-Murderer

1) Victim was an 8 year old girl;
2) Suspect kidnapped the victim by force;
3) Victim was taken away at night (on her way to the night market);
4) Victim was abducted and detained for a few weeks;
5) Suspect inserted vegetables into victim's private parts to simulate penile penetration;
6) Suspect strangled the victim;
7) When victim died, suspect stuffed the victim's body in a sports bag and placed it in a building premise;
8) May have an accomplice (the woman seen with the sports bag in the CCTV) or more (wait a sec, could the mastermind be a she? The woman herself?);
9) Suspect has the tendency to show off - he is bold enough to place the sports bag containing the victim's body in an open premise to let the public know of his crime;
10) Careful design and planning in carrying out the crime - the suspect had approached a houseowner in the area to inquire about a vacant unit in the building premise where the sports bag was later found.

What do you think? Could there be a copycat serial molester on the loose?
